Some people have no respect and putting down Milash Studio Hurstville, shame on you. Yet I believe you all go back. I have been getting my eye lashes ,brow wax and tinted since they open the shop, with no bad experience. My bad experience was in another lashes shop down at level ground floor, she pressure me to pay other things which I keep saying no. She put something on my eyes for the lashes, telling me its normal. Once paid. My eyes were sore ,red. I went to Mlash studio Hurstville and the staff were very supportive and gently removing the lashes which was super glue on my eyelids and my real eyelashes and it Hurt alot. They clean my eyes and replace new eye lashes. That other store were lucky I did not press charges to them.
I came in the get a last lift the other day then 2 days later I got a really bad eye infection and now my vision is blurry which I cannot see good and I’m in pain with a swollen eye. WILL NOT RECOMMEND THID PLACE. You mind as well spend more money somewhere else and get a good service and good outcome not like this place where after a couple day you get an eye infection.
First and last time I will ever go here. I get home after being satisfied with an average job on my brows and lashes. Not great but not bad either definitely looks alright. I go to brush my hair and I find my services has dropped her wax strip in my hair, which then left my hair matted ahead of a wedding I was attending! Best part is she didn’t tell me and I guess just hoped I wouldn’t notice! I call the next day, get a staff member who said oh if it was irritation in your eye or something blah blah but it’s just wax in your hair you can get it out easily with oil. She then tells me there’s no manager available and that she can try to pass on my number to a full time staff as they MIGHT know the manager. I asked this staff if I could have her name for reference that I had spoke to someone and she started getting upset saying that I was getting her in trouble and that she would not provide me any details. When I bro uh get up the fact that she had insinuated it was “just wax” she started accusing me of being aggressive and mean and said “I’m not speaking to you” and hung up.
Absolutely DISGUSTING experience today. DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!! I have been a loyal customer since this business first opened in Westfield Hurstville and regularly come in for eyebrow waxing and tinting, as well as upper lip waxing. I have NEVER had an issue until today, and I honestly left shocked at how badly my skin was treated. The staff member used strip wax on my face instead of hot wax and literally ripped the top layer of my skin off. My skin immediately started burning and stinging abnormally, far beyond the usual mild sensitivity after waxing. Red marks were left all over my face and you could clearly see every direction the wax strip had been pulled. It looked horrific. What frustrated me even more was how poorly the situation was handled afterwards. Aloe vera was applied but because my skin was so damaged and inflamed, it was stinging, burning and on the verge of bleeding even more. There was no real and genuine apology, no professionalism, and no confidence in handling the damage they had caused. The worker then told me I “didn’t need to pay” for the waxing service but still expected me to pay for the tint. I genuinely could not believe that after leaving my face burned, swollen, red, and visibly damaged, they still thought charging me for any part of the appointment was appropriate. I ended up not paying for anything at all. To make things worse, I’m a teacher and had to go into work that same afternoon (as well as everyday of this week) and continue teaching looking like that. It was painful, embarrassing, and completely unacceptable. They told me to come back next time to do threading but there WON'T be a next time!
DO NOT COME HERE. This was hands down the worst lash experience I’ve ever had. I got Mega Volume lashes done on a Sunday, and within four days almost all of them had fallen out. When I called, I was told they would fix them for free. However, when I arrived, they suddenly changed their story and demanded $100 to redo their own poor work. To make things worse, they made me wait for over an hour while openly talking badly about my lashes among themselves. When I finally confronted them, they insulted me by saying my lashes weren’t nice or good. At no point during either visit did they make me feel comfortable or respected. Extremely unprofessional, rude, and disappointing. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
