This review was a long time coming... and I wish I had posted it when I got my lashes done at The Lash Lounge but I was just shocked and horrified by the treatment I received here. Not to mention my wedding was 3 weeks away from when I had this appt. I was attending a conference in Bellevue and came to this place due to the high reviews (which I am not sure how it has such high reviews, maybe there are other competent/non-racist lash artists there... not sure). I was a walk in appt and got an older White lash artist. Immediately her energy was off. She did not make me feel welcome. It was my first lash lift and I was hoping she would treat me with care but it was far from it. The solutions she was putting kept burning my eyes so badly. I kept telling her, "hey this is a lot," and the rubber things she put on were so uncomfortable (I was thinking okay maybe all lash lifts are like this), but then the burning sensation kept getting intense. She had the audacity to say and I quote, "Do you want children?" I said, "Umm... yes." And she said, "Well dont have them, if you cant handle this pain." And proceeded to grunt and laugh audibly. I was flabbergasted. I was so sad the whole appt, I just couldnt wait to get out of there. She didnt even show me my final lashes. I went back to my hotel, saw my face and burst out crying. The lashes went straight up, there was no curl whatsoever in them. In all my wedding pics the close up was so bad because of these lashes. Not to mention the emotional trauma of that lady's behavior and remarks was so hurtful that I havent been able to let it go and it's been about 3 years.
I got lash extensions for the first time with Lizzie and she KILLED IT! She made sure to understand exactly how I want them to look and made the process so easy and comfortable. Definitely will be going back to my girl Lizzie for a fill!!!
I’ve come to the lash lounge a few times in the past for lash extensions by their stylists-in training and had good experiences. However, was disappointed by the results of my recent lash lift. I do realize that Asian lashes may be more different to deal with, so that’s on me for choosing someone that doesn’t regularly deal with Asian lashes. You can see that the left (mirror imaged due to front camera) upper lash came out great, but somehow the lower lashes got permed in the process?? I thought maybe it was just the tape that squashed my lower lashes so I applied water on the lower lash and waited until the next day, but they’re still clumped and crimped:( You can also see that the lift wasn’t as good on the right side. I feel bad complaining bc my stylist was very sweet & did my right upper lashes twice during the appt but it’s still not as lifted as the other side. Overall, I spent around $130 after tax + tip, so would caution others interested in getting lash lift here 🥲 Will go to different place next time.
Oh my god. My first time experience i was really scared. But let me tell you the girl I had was so amazing. She had such patience with me, I have a really hard time with my body jerking. I was literally her last of the day on her Friday yall and she killed it!!!!! 😭 I'm so happy I chose this place. Thnx again . I'm definitely recommending this place to whoever will listen. These girls are good. My girls name was Inga. Girl you rock$$$$
I got my lashes done by Codi. She was very personable and patient. I have been getting my lashes done here for a while now and I highly recommend! The front desk staff are kind and did a very good job explaining their products to me!
