Excellent Nails and Lashes - Wallingford

Where's the option to put 1 million stars???Honestly I am so late to putting this review here- I've been loyal to this business since I moved to Seattle in 2024. I will never go anywhere else. Sure there are a ton of nail places in Seattle with solid nail techs, but Excellent Nails is run by great, well-intentioned people who will go above and beyond for you. The nail techs truly care about their clients and put in genuine efforts to create what we have in mind. I met Vi as a customer and now she is one of my favorite people, and she has never failed to give me a killer set of hard gel nails. The first time I came in, I spent like 30 minutes just picking out nail colors and she was so patient with me LOL. She also recommended I opt for hard gel over gel x to maintain the health of my nails, which is the best decision I've ever made because hard gel is my shit now and Vi does it SO well. I see some reviews on here complaining about the customer service or deposits, which is surprising to me because all I see is a small business who tries their absolute best to accommodate their customers. They are incredibly flexible and clear with their policies. If you are unhappy with your nails, they will listen and do whatever is within their capacity to give you what you need. Everytime I go to get my nails done, I end up there for like 3 hours (because Vi and I talk so much hehe), but since I'm there so long, I have the privilege to witness the positive atmosphere and supportive nature of the nail techs. I am intensely passionate about how much Excellent Nails deserves every ounce of support from its community. So yeah this review is very overdue, here are pics of nails I've gotten over the last year-ish.

I love getting my nails done here! Queenie did such an amazing job! The whole team here is excellent and so kind! 10/10 would recommend ♥️ this is regular polish but it looks exceptional 😍

I really love coming to this salon! Every tech is so talented and incredibly friendly. I’ve been coming here consistently for about 4 months now and have noticed such a positive difference in the health of my nails.

Honestly, my nails have never looked so good! I moved here from NYC this year so I did some research to find a reputable local nail salon. Excellent Nails had great reviews so I gave it a try. I hit the jackpot with this place! Aside from being talented, Vi is a pleasure to sit with for an hour. She always asks me if I like the shape or the color before she proceeds with doing all of my nails, which is great because sometimes I don’t like the color (colors can look different from the swatches) and I have the opportunity to change my mind. I also found a great lash tech there! Wonderful salon, highly recommend.

I randomly stopped into this neighborhood shop about a month ago for a gel manicure removal, and they took care of me as a walk-in, and after that, I decided that I would come back when I needed to get my nails done because it’s nice to have a place in the neighborhood I can walk to for these services. I went in yesterday for a regular pedicure and gel mani and they took great care of me, and I had booked them only the day before. V and Julie were friendly, sweet and good at their jobs. I will be making this place my new regular spot for nails.
