However, I was very disappointed with the treatment and service I received from the technician who treated me this time. Initially, during the consultation, I mentioned that I had been satisfied with previous treatments, but that the curls didn't last very long last time. I didn't mean to imply that there was a problem with the treatment itself; rather, I was being honest, hoping that there might be some improvement in this treatment, considering various factors such as the hair growth cycle. However, during this treatment, from the initial application of the tape to the final touch, the pressure applied to my face was extremely strong. It felt like they were pressing so hard on my face that it was unbelievable. Specifically, they pressed down hard on my forehead with one hand while moving my face, and removed the tape and rods very forcefully, causing my eyes to open repeatedly. I've never experienced anything like this before. This was the first time my face and eye area had been touched with such force, and because it was an eye area treatment, I began to feel terrified, wondering what they were going to do next. My heart was pounding, and I couldn't stop trembling. During the procedure, the stylist said, "Your eyes are trembling, please relax." However, my body was already trembling due to the strong stimulation and tension during the treatment, so the trembling intensified immediately after she said that. Furthermore, after the treatment, she said, "Because your eyelids were trembling, the curl might not last as long." Despite feeling anxious and scared during the treatment, she showed no consideration for my feelings and instead explained the uneven results as if it were my fault, which I found extremely unpleasant. Also, from the very beginning of the treatment (before my body started trembling), she asked "Are you okay?" several times, but I didn't understand what she was checking, which only made me more anxious. I think I would have felt more at ease if she had specifically asked, "Does it hurt?" or "Is the pressure okay?" Since this was a salon I had been going to for a long time, I was very saddened by this experience, and when the approximately 30-minute Parisian lash lift was finished, I left as quickly as I could. I understand that everyone experiences the procedure differently, but this was a first for me in nearly 10 years of getting eyelash perms and other treatments. Because it's a procedure around the eyes, I think it's important not only to have technical skill but also to provide reassurance and communication during the procedure. I hope that no one else will have to go through the same anxiety I did.
