There are so many lash salons out there, but that’s exactly why choosing the right lash artist matters. Sakura is not only highly skilled, but she also creates such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. She takes the time to listen carefully during every consultation and truly understands what you’re looking for. I always leave feeling confident and happy with my lashes! I’ll continue trusting Sakura with them, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented and caring lash artist.
Sakura possesses such high precision and lash design skill - she is easily the best lash tech in NYC and her work is recognized world wide. First off, she is warm, friendly and a joy to speak to, so you will have an easy time communicating your vision with her. She sources the highest quality extensions and materials and takes into consideration your natural lash health when working with you. I expressed that I wanted a natural cat-eye look, but that I didn’t want my eyes to look droopy. Sakura executed the design better than I could have ever imagined! All while engaging in a fun conversation with me. You can truly feel comfortable trusting the ‘Omakase’ design. As others have said, I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my lashes and would absolutely recommend Sakura for your lash needs. Lastly, the salon is stunning and this adds another high touch service to the experience. I can’t wait to be back!
I’ve been seeing Sakura for lash extensions for almost five years and couldn’t be happier. She’s meticulous, professional, and genuinely cares about lash health and what will look best on you. My lashes always turn out beautiful and natural, last well, and still feel like “me.” People often ask if they’re my real lashes and where I get them done. I highly recommend her and wouldn’t go anywhere else!
I’ve been a customer at Omakase Lash by Sakura for almost five years, and I’m definitely sticking with her for lash work! She’s really dedicated to lashes and specializes in them—meaning, lash extensions are her main focus, not just something she does on the side. I need a lash artist who is also safe and responsible…because, well, she is working VERY close to my eyes!!! Since I am not a big fan of a simple theatrical style of fake lashes, therefore, requires a bit of finesse in lash designing and styling. The lashes are subtle yet noticeable, like when people ask if they’re all mine. I know it requires a tons of creativity and customization ability there…. After all those years of visiting Sakura, she got familiar with my lifestyle and likes and don’t likes…. Now I do trust her not only in skillset but also in artistry, so I just leave it to her. Literally, I do “Omakase” for my lashes. Highly recommended!
I have very thin lashes and had struggled for years with lash extensions causing premature fallout due to weight. Since Sakura started doing my lashes, my natural lashes have actually grown longer, fuller, and straighter. Sakura is incredibly knowledgeable and always customizes the extensions to suit your lash type while protecting their integrity. You can tell she truly cares about long-term lash health, not just how they look that day. I wouldn’t trust my lashes with anyone else.
