I've gotten my eyebrows threaded here for many years and the results are consistently fantastic. The prices are much more affordable than any of the fancy threading places in Manhattan, and supporting a small, women-run business is an added bonus!

Not sure why this place has 4.2 stars but maybe I got the wrong lady this day to do my brows. Came in explicitly saying I just wanted a CLEANING and expressed that I like my eyebrows to be THICK and to leave my natural arch of my brow, the lady nodded her head and sat me down. I got up once more and expressed this as this has happened more than once. She took about 10 minutes on 1 single eyebrow, continuing to go over the same part of my brow (the arch) and the line get breaking. I should’ve trusted my gut something went wrong. I get up, and my eyebrows were not proportionate, no shape, THIN, and she had cut off the arch of my right eyebrow. Not to mention I told her I also don’t want her threading the middle part of my eyebrow and proceeded to do that AND left them uneven. I got left with a straight brow and missing 1/4 of it. Not returning again. They’re lucky I even paid. The other wax lady came and expressed how sorry they were, but what was done was done. I got sat by the lady in the middle chair. First two photos were my eyebrows before I walked in. Horrible job

The lady of the salon was super unfriendly and I came out with uneven eyebrows. I told her I just wanted a cleaning and keep my shape. She didn’t talk to me just pushed me on the chair and kept threading until I had to remind her that I just wanted a clean up and then she stopped. Now my eyebrows are too plucked and uneven. Not sure how this place is so highly rated.

I’m not an expert in health regulations, but I noticed something that seems unsanitary. The employees keep a comb in their hair, pull it out to comb clients’ eyebrows before threading, and then put it right back in their hair. I saw this happen with several clients. In barbershops, combs and other tools must be cleaned in a disinfectant solution like Barbicide, which kills germs and prevents infections. I’m not sure what the rules are for this service, but using the same un-sanitized comb on multiple clients seems concerning.
