Nicole did my lash extensions which came out great. I got 7/8/9/8 length and a 70 piece natural set (c curl). Next time I might make the longest 8 as the 9 was a bit long for my taste .
I genuinely cannot believe how long this lash set took only to be completely dissatisfied with the end product. It took over two hours and what I was left with looks nowhere near 2+ hours of work. I use to come here for years but stopped coming last year after inconsistent sets every single time I’d have an appointment. After probably a year or so of not coming here I thought I’d give them another chance which was a mistake. I showed the lash tech this photo of lashes I literally had done at Lash Me by another tech. I assumed because the previous set was done at Lash Me and it was the SAME set I was doing today that she would be capable of delivering. I paid for 2D lashes and what I got looks more like a classic or hybrid set. If she knew she was not capable of replicating the set I showed her she should have been honest and said that. I won’t be back after this and would suggest people save their money and go elsewhere. Ever since Coco left their work is no good. Also in reference to the review before mine, we must have had the same tech because my tech kept doing the exact same thing during the appointment which was making me incredibly uncomfortable. She kept whispering, huffing and puffing and slamming her tools down, picking them back up. Every time she would slam her tools down I thought the appointment was done only to be lying there for an additional 10 to 20+ minutes every time. I’d like to add that I am also Lash Certified so I know what quality lashes should look like and how long it should take, and this is not at all a quality experience. Both photos are suppose to be “2D Lashes” yet one looks amazing and the other looks awful—both done at the exact same establishment.
Today I had the chance to try out this new place located in the heart of Union Square. I was recommended by a friend. So, I tried their 2D dolly looking eyelash extensions. The proccess was excellent well-done. I say so because I have a very sensible skin and I had bad experiences of my 2 previous places I went to.I ended up with itchiness and watery eyes (so disappointed). I guess it's because of type of glue they used and the stickiness around the area. But this place has high quality of their products, GUARANTEED.I did not feel any itchiness in my eyes. In addition, the lady who put my extensions on, is a proffesional, she was really smooth and careful during the entire process. I felt like I was in the spa. After they finished putting the eyelashes on, my first impression was (WOW) it looks amazing on me and it is very light that I didn't even feel it.the ladies explained me clearly the procedure and recommendation to keep your entensions longer. I am totally satisfied about this service. I will definitely come back!!! Great job keep it up!!!. This is the right place to go. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED DO NOT MISS THEIR GOOD PROMOTION, THEY REALLY HAVE GOOD DEALS!!! AND THIS OFFER ONLY LAST UNTIL THE END OF MAY. SO, WHAT ARE U WAITING FOR?
I have been with My Fabulous Lashes for over 2 years now and I only get my lashes done here and even took NJ transit when I was not in Manhattan over the summer since I notice a huge difference in quality and service from other lash studios. The lashes they use and the technicians’ skill is much higher than 3 other highly rated lash studios I tried in Manhattan before coming here. Their customer service is the best and is easy to contact through text and always tries to accommodate you. I love having a very full look with a 5/6D Volume Set and they always keep in mind that I like a dark lash line and my retention is great as well. I can go weeks without a fill and each refill set they carefully remove outgrown lashes and make it look like a new set. The studio has great music and amenities and every lash artist is extremely gentle and I am able to sleep through the entire process so it’s definitely worth the money!
I showed this picture to the technician and said I wanted Cateye wetlook..she didn't know what wetlook was to I settled for whispy. During the application my eyes were constantly burning whenever I forgot to squeeze them shut hard. The technician seem to have some freak out during the application as I heard her whispering panicked in another language but never said anything to me. When I saw the result I was extremely disappointed, I've tried about 5-7 lash salons over the years in the city. I always ask for classic and never have I left a place with such sparse lashes. Besides the sparse lashes (I understand it's only 70 pieces per eye) the whispy look is supposed to be at least 2 usually 4 lashes coming together to form a whisp. Instead I got a few single and completely random long lashes added to the set which was an additional 30. I showed the picture again to the other technician after and she said that's a volume set, also showed picture of my usual lashes. Everywhere I've been I've said classic and it's been a lot fuller and whisky means multiple lashes coming together to form a whisp. I tired to prefix that I don't want volume (which she showed me photos off) I just want the whisp to be more than 1 lashes and a little fuller. She said I'd have to book 2d volume or 110 lashes for that, but why not tell me this before we get started to manage my expectations? Instead of saying yes to the photo then saying no that's volume and not what you're getting only after?! I asked how much the 2 week refill would cost to get what I had asked for initially.. The cost would be 110+30 so 140+tax for a 2 week refill which everywhere else I've paid 70-80 for. I'd definitely not go back. Reply to Fba lash's reply: No the technician did not specify or explain the difference. And as I mentioned in my review and to the technician after it's not so much about the amount of lashes (I understand its only 70) but that 1. The technician said yes and only after said I wasn't getting what I asked for. 2. Wisps are only a few randomly places single lashes. 3. I've been to many other salons who charge lass and give fuller and actual wispy results when I show this picture. 4. To get the result I get other places for 70-80 for 2 week refill I'd have to pay 140 here. Disapoting that you don't want to take responsibility or offer a solution.
