Hottie Lash ｜classic hybrid volume lash extension｜lash lift｜ eyebrow

This is my 2nd time getting my lashes done here (1st trying the anime style) and I can’t recommend it enough! All of the staff are so sweet and courteous. The studio is quiet and clean. My lash technician Grace was AMAZING— she was so kind, spoke with me about the look I was going for & demonstrated two different lash curls and lengths on me beforehand so I could get a better idea of what I’d prefer. She was so quick and precise, no burning from glue fumes whatsoever! I love my lashes! I travel from Long Island to get here and it’s 100% worth the trip

I had such high expectations for this place and ended up so disappointed! Please read this before you book with them. I booked on July 17th in preparation for a 3 week work trip on July 19th. It was my first time ever getting lashes and I expressed this to them. I was extremely happy with the results when I left their establishment and made sure to follow their instructions exactly how they were given to me because I wanted my lashes to last and to stay as beautiful as they were for as long as I could since my work trip was going to be 3 weeks long. On Sunday morning (I haven’t washed my face since Friday trying to protect them) I take a shower and noticed that 2 little clusters from my right eye fell off but I was stressing about my job so I didn’t think of reaching out or saying anything right away, on Monday I get I text from them asking me how it was going and I told them that the clusters from my right eye were falling off already, they asked me for proof so I sent them a video. I was In Seoul and then Brussels so communication was hard due to the time difference. They responded that they could fix it for free but only if I return within 7 days, I told them that I was traveling for work and was unable to leave my job and return to nyc just so they could fix them. They responded that they could do a new installation for me upon my return to NYC 50% OFF (what?!!) I finally put my foot down and told them I was not going to do that and that the least they could do was fix them for free since this incident was clearly an installation problem on their end. Their response was that they agreed to fix them upon my return but that I’d have to book an appointment and put down a $40 deposit and that I needed to tip the last tech because she wasn’t going to make any money from fixing her work. Mind you, I left a $20 tip and which brought the total of everything to $150us. So how is she not making any money out of me? The other horrible practice that this business has is that they will ask you to go get cash and pay them in cash, I know that this is so that they don’t have to pay higher taxes to the city but if you have a problem like the one I had with them you can not even dispute the charges with your bank for their poor practices. I have submitted a complaint about all this to the NYC BBB. UPDATE ON THIS REVIEW; After leaving my review they reached out to me saying that they could refund me for the services. I said okay, they then texted me saying that I’d have to go to the shop to pick up the cash and I agreed on Monday 8/10. However, I couldn’t go in that day so I went today Thursday 8/13. I texted the manager that I was on my way and everything went downhill from there. The manager said that I’d have to wait an hour to get the refund in cash because she/he wasn’t there and that the staff wasn’t authorized to give me the money back. When I got to the shop I told the lady in the front desk about the situation and she was really nice but wasn’t aware of my situation with them, goes to show how poorly managed this place is. After a while, the front desk tells me that the manager told her that she could give me the refund ONLY IF I REMOVE MY REVIEW! I immediately said no, this was my experience with them and I have the right to tell it. After that, the manager proceeded to send me these text messages. I’d stay away from this place at all costs if I were you. I resubmitted another claim to the BBB this time they will handle my claim for a refund because I had to leave without it since the manager didn’t authorize my refund because I didn’t allow them to blackmail me.

This lash place was really amazing!! I did end up coming late but they made my lashes look amazing and they’re really accommodating. Just in time for graduation photos! Will definitely be coming back here

I had a really good experience. My lashes came out super nice and lasted a long time. Zoe made me super comfortable and made sure I was part of the whole experience, picking out style, length, etc. Would recommend!

the lash is really pretty, this is my second time be here, maya did a great job! no burn at all on my eyes, the space is clean and neat. really recommend to get a anime lash here. xoxo
