The Queen pedicure by Ken was spectacular & by far the best experience I’ve ever had. One of a kind experience. I’m truly in love with my experience. I got a complimentary drinky drink & a snack. He cleaned my toes without any pain and it was thorough! 5 Stars, 10/10, 100%. I’ll be back. I don’t live close but I’ll be back soon thank you Ken. My #1
came with my friend for a manicure and we had such a great experience! Teresa did an amazing job with the cutting and filing on his nails… very precise and clean. John was lively and welcoming, and he recommended that I try gel instead of my usual acrylic. I’m so glad I listened because my French tips came out absolutely beautiful! They looked clean, classy, and perfectly shaped. The whole experience was great and I’ll definitely be back! Ohh I forgot They even started us off with a complimentary drink, which was such a nice touch.
I had an amazing experience with Jay! He was extremely professional, attentive, and truly talented. From the moment I sat down, he made sure to understand exactly what I wanted and executed it perfectly. What I appreciated most was how he communicated throughout the entire process he walked me through pricing step by step so there were no surprises. Jay is clearly passionate about his craft and stays up to date with the latest styles and products, which really shows in his work. My nails came out even better than I imagined! I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for quality service and a great overall experience. I’ll definitely be back! ✨💅
First time there at Gateway nails as I switched from the nail salon in kings plaza because front desk guy was nasty. But From the moment I walked in, these people were pleasant. I sat for around 10 minutes before I was serviced. It’s huge in there! Plenty of different options from different brands. I was offered a drink, I declined. Got a birthday discount. Was serviced by William he’s very quick. It’s refreshing not having bumpy nails with rude people. The only down side they didn’t have my color from DND (chilli pepper 757) hope they get it soon, but plenty of reds to choose from as I only wear red nails. But service was exceptional hope they keep it up and not be like the other salons that doesn’t respect customers. (This color was DND diva 248 cherry on top)
UPDATE!!! I originally left a review after a bad experience, and the owner responded asking me to come back so they could fix my nails for free. I appreciated that and decided to give them a second chance. When I returned, no one knew what I was talking about, which was already frustrating. A different nail tech ended up fixing my nails, and she did a great job—she even agreed that the previous work was poorly done. However, when it was time for my pedicure, they tried to send me back to the same guy who did a terrible job the first time. I requested someone else and was left waiting for over 30 minutes. To make matters worse, I was still charged full price to fix my nails—no discount, no accountability, nothing. I really tried to give this place a fair second chance, but unfortunately, they disappointed me again. I won’t be returning. This was my first time visiting this nail salon, and the place itself is very nice and has a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service I received was disappointing. The nail tech who did my fill seemed to be rushing to finish and didn’t do a good job. I specifically told her that I don’t like thick nails, but she completely ignored my request. The nails ended up much thicker than I asked for, and she didn’t even apply lotion to my hands at the end, which is something that’s typically part of the service. For my pedicure, a corner of my toenail broke and they didn’t have a way to fix it. The technician also had difficulty understanding me (or seemed like he didn’t want to engage because he was rushing to leave). They had actually forgotten that I was supposed to receive a pedicure at all, and the technician already had his jacket on and looked like he was about to go home. He asked what kind of pedicure I wanted and if I’d like something to drink. I asked for a sangria, and he initially told me they didn’t have any. When I insisted, suddenly they did. It honestly felt like he was in such a rush that he didn’t want to serve the drink. I came here because a friend recommended this salon and had great experiences, so I was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, my visit did not match those expectations, and I left feeling disappointed with the service I received.
