I’ve been going to Tiana since August, and honestly I can’t recommend her enough. From the first appointment she’s been absolutely wonderful. She’s incredibly talented! I appreciate all the care she puts into her work. Everything always looks perfect, you can tell she wants her clients to leave happy. Tiana brings all my ideas to life, My most recent set was something whimsical like myself! Like I’ve never been so happy getting my nails done. Friends, I’ve added a few photos of different sets she’s done for me because her work speaks for itself. If you want someone who’s patient, talented and cares booook Tiana, she’s Amazing!!!
Very Disappointed With My Experience I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experiences at Brooklyn Nails Bar and Lash. I originally had an appointment with Vanessa for my pedicure and nails. Vanessa did my pedicure, but then took another client and passed me off to Jessica for my nails. Unfortunately, I was not happy with the quality of the polish application. As the pictures show, the application looked sloppy and uneven, so I politely asked Vanessa if she could fix it. Instead of addressing my concern, she became upset and called the manager. To be fair, the manager stepped in, corrected my nails, and I ultimately left satisfied with the finished result. I appreciated the manager taking the time to make things right. However, what happened today was the deciding factor for me. I brought my 16-year-old niece to the salon for her scheduled 12:30p gel manicure and pedicure appointment with Vanessa. When we arrived, Vanessa refused to do her nails. We were left standing in the salon feeling embarrassed and uncomfortable. I was willing to have another technician take the appointment, but after thinking about it, I decided that I should not have to spend my money at a business where I no longer feel welcomed or respected as a customer. This was especially disappointing because I had every intention of continuing to patronize the salon and even brought my niece with me. Customer service matters just as much as the quality of the service itself. I’m sharing this review because I believe businesses should know how their actions make customers feel. No customer—especially a paying customer who has made an appointment—should be made to feel unwelcome or embarrassed. The manager was professional when she corrected my nails, and I appreciate that. But unfortunately, based on my overall experience, I will not be returning to Brooklyn Nails Bar and Lash. The pictures speak for themselves regarding the original polish application.
My first time going there I was caught by surprise by how many people there were even though it was a Saturday so it was expected. I booked an appointment but I didn’t get a confirmation because the way that I did it, I did not receive a confirmation email which was fine because I still was seen very fast. I got builder gel and I loved it. Jessica attended me and she was great! The drinks are great as well. I also went on Sunday with my sister and it was even fuller, we came like 40 minutes before her appointment but she was seen at her time and she loved it as well. She was seen by John and he did well! Overall nice environment will be coming back.
Rough work. Honestly, it was okay at best. The complimentary drink was really nice I had a strawberry fruit tea that was absolutely delicious. I went around 6:30 on a Friday night and it was pretty busy but they called everyone up relatively fast soooo no issues there. However after my pedicure I feel like the service went down hill. My tech was rough with my fingers when filing. I think he did a great job sizing them but when applying the gel color he missed the ends of my nails so it was a bold cut off point between the gel and the acrylic. He fixed after I mentioned it but that to me and the rough service kinda felt wack in my opinion. I feel like those details are important especially since I didn’t get any type of design. It looked like they were rushing to accommodate someone else because before I turned around from paying someone else was in my seat. I think this could’ve been due to them closing soon. But in my opinion it made the experience very lackluster. I’m not saying I wouldn’t try them again but I think the time you go and the tech you choose are very very important. Just okay in my book.
Alex did an amazing job on nails and I got a Great pedicure by Nancy!! I will be coming back for sure. Kyle is also amazing with the Spa Pedicure!! You will feel like a million bucks after you're done!
