So I decided to try this nail salon for the first time on 3/26. I made an appointment for pedicure and dip powder manicure. When I arrived and checked in I saw that it showed only pedicure but after speaking to the representative she was able to confirm my appointment details and quickly called Tina to take care of me. Tina greeted me and took me to the chair to get my pedicure done. I was offered a complimentary drink and once my pedicure was completed she called me over which I was a little bit confused as to why,but then realized that she was taking me to someone else to get my dip powder manicure done. I sat with Noah who was not very friendly. He told me later that they don’t have any dip powder and he’s going to put this base on which he said is dip powder and then use the same nail polish color that I chose for my pedicure to put on the top. I was upset and asked why wasn’t I told about having no dip powder before my appointment or anyone taking me. He kept insisting that it’s okay as he was putting the white base dip powder before the polish. As I was already there and needed to get my nails done, I said ok let’s see how good you are in getting my nails done so he proceeded . I have to say the experience was not very welcoming, he kept talking to his peers and never even asked me if I liked it or what shape I wanted or anything he just did what he was doing and sometimes not even looking at my hands while he filed my nails he just kept watching over to his peer next to him and talking. He quickly finished and got up and walked away to wash his hands leaving me sitting on the chair wondering what in the world kind of service is this. I then went to pay and to my surprise he was charging me for a full acrylic set which is $65 while the dip powder manicure was $50. When I mentioned it to him he said ok and took $10 off . I said to him the price says $50 and the pedicure is $35 plus if you pay cash there was a 10% discount. He went ahead 3 times before he got it right. I have to say that was my first and last time I’ll ever visit that salon. My hand’s manicure looks horrible and so is my pedicure. Now I have to go somewhere else to get it done and pay again. Ridiculous.
It was a beautiful salon and the employees were very hospitable however they don't do quality work I got a simple pedicure on a Monday by Wednesday the polish on an entire toe was missing and the paint on another big toe had flaked off. I would have loved to be a returning customer but the work was not up to par. There is no reason why I should be in target days after my pedicure trying to find a matching shade of polish to fix my pedicure the day before my vacation.
I wanted a basic manicure and pedicure just for a spontaneous self care day but was not very happy with the added fees they tack on. They one: didn’t use regular nail polish and instead put gel polish on just without the lamp and 4 of my nails have already chipped. It’s been less than 8 hours. Two: I’ve never had a pedicure where scrubbing of the feet was an additional $15. I wasn’t aware of this up charge but it makes sense now because when I checked out the price didn’t add up until I looked at the receipt Definitely will not be back 😪
I visited this nail salon on Saturday 09/05/26 for a 9:30am appointment with my regular nail technician L. L is very accustom of being late and didn’t show up until 10:05 am, this was nothing new for her to be late because even when you go to your appointment set with her on time, your average wait time for your actual appointment to get started is 45 minutes. The last time I was there was literally 2 weeks before and I waited over 1 hour, I went to BJ’s next door and came back and L still wasn’t done with the prior client. When I asked why even make an appointment she told me the salon gets busy and I shouldn’t even make an appointment anymore just walk in, but I knew better because I have been going here for almost a year and I know they are quick to tell you that you don’t have an appointment and you can’t be seen. Anyway before this post gets way too long, I did my gel builder fill and pedicure. When my pedicure was finishing up I looked down on 2 of my nails that was just filled and 1 nail literally looked like it was already grown out. So I said no, I need to say something and have her fix it because if it looked like this now imagine then. I tried to get L’s attention and have the employee D finishing up the pedicure called L over, D did and L never came. That’s ok, L is busy so I will wait until I’m paying. When I went to paid I said to the receptionist and D again that the nail needed to be looked at, the receptionist said something to L, receptionist then said L said that’s how my nail is. I showed the gap and said come on that’s not what it is, I said I can have another person fix it and that it doesn’t have to be L, receptionist said wait for L as soon as L gets done go back to L’s chair. So I waited another 15 mins for L to be done with her client. I went to L’s chair sat let her fix it, where she applied just a slight bit more on the two nails and then let the nails dry and apply to quote the fix was not even 10 mins. L said to me “ you know you can try and technician” wait what. I didn’t make a scene, I said ok. There was so many ways I could have reacted and caused a scene but I didn't because you weren’t going to apply any additional label to this one. Like seriously, this literally took you not even 10 minutes to fix and this is what I deserve to be told, I have showed up to this salon and waited for this person with an appointment made and waited for L as well as L not showed up to work at all. This is my own fault because I should have valued and respected my money plus remained in control of it rather than having you think I don’t have options. I spoke to the receptionist when I was leaving and told her my experience, I tipped D for the pedicure and didn’t tip L. I told the receptionist I wouldn’t come back, receptionist said please come back for me and she would give me 20% off the next visit. Receptionist said I know the nail techs can refuse clients and that at the eod she would talk to L and find out what was going on with her because she couldn’t believe L would have that reaction knowing how patient I have always been with L. Receptionist took my number and said she would text me and she never did. Honestly not surprised and wasn’t waiting for her text either because the minute I walked out I wasn’t going back, they are plenty of fish in the sea and I’m willing to pay as well as tip for the service I received. Time and Time businesses forget that consumers are who build there businesses and make it successful, everyone should be valued.
I’ve been here several times, but this time round was an unpleasant experience. I came to get a regular mani-pedi with gel. My Pedicure was very pleasant, and the person that did it was respectful so I have no complaints on that. But for some reason, I received the most rude and unprofessional employee to do my full set nails. At first everything was fine, until I asked for what design I wanted for my nails. I told him that I wanted a domino inspired design and showed him a photo off their Instagram page of someone that had a domino nail. And then he started doing it incorrectly. When I pointed it out and I showed him a complete reference photo of what I was going for, (which were dominoes), he started defending himself and villainizing me for not being “clear” which is unfair to me. And what makes it worse is that when he finally knew the design that I asked for several times, he did it sloppily, rushed, and injured my cuticle skin in the process and now stings with any slight pressure. There’s even a faint smudge on one of my nails. It was an unpleasant and unfair service and usually I get great nail techs at this location, but not this time round.
