Would give 0 stars if I could. Visited on 24/7/2026 at 2:30 pm for brow threading at Camberwell. The lady spent less than ONE minute total on my brows and did a very poor job. I had to ask twice for her to thread the residual hair again, twice. The whole time she was extremely rude and dismissive. After the second time, she walked away to the cashier and asked me to pay. As a local customer of many years, this service was absolutely appalling. Very disappointed and will not be returning.

I have gone here for years to get my brows threaded but was very disappointed today. The threading itself was great as usual. However, when I walked in the only staff member was sitting at the desk on her phone, did not greet me at any point. The lady sitting in the treatment chair was also waiting and seemed confused. She finally put the dye on the ladies brows and then proceeded to sit on her phone again despite the fact I had been sitting there for nearly 20 minutes. She was so distracted that the lady had to time her own brow tint and remind the staff member that it was time to come off. Once she finished up with the first customer (note another customer had come in too), I assumed she would have us in next. She proceeded to not greet the other girl that had just come in and as 25 minutes approached I decided to address her and ask how long the wait was. She responded a bit confused and said she was busy doing something important on the computer. It took another 5-10 minutes after that. I have no issue with waiting but this was ridiculous and just poor management as she had not addressed the 2 waiting customers for over 20 minutes and sat on her phone and computer. I understand if things pop up but it is quite rude not to address customers when you are having them wait for up to 30 minutes for seemingly no reason.

Unfortunately a disappointing experience overall. The service felt quite unfriendly and inattentive, and during my eyelash tint my eyes started stinging and I couldn’t get the technician’s attention despite trying. Thankfully my eyes were fine afterwards, but I wouldn’t return.

I’ve been coming the Camberwell salon for years to have my eyebrows waxed, threaded, and dyed, and no matter who I see, my brows always come out fantastic! The staff are well-trained, friendly, and always take the time to ask what I want before they start. I really appreciate that they check in about shape and style, especially since I’ve had bad experiences elsewhere with people cutting my eyebrows without asking me. Highly recommend!
