I got my lashes done here yesterday. I had never had extensions before so I went in with a photo. I asked the lady if that was something she could do and she said “yes, they are classic lashes”. After I sat down in the chair, she explained that the lashes they use are different, they are thin instead of thick, my natural lash colour and the shape of my eyes would affect the outcome. I asked if she would still be able to replicate the photo and she informed me that they would not be identical, but told me they would be similar. I agreed to continue the service as I was under the impression they would be similar. She did my lashes, I opened my eyes and told her they weren’t as dark as I thought they would be. She added some more lashes but still, they weren’t anything like the photo I showed her. As I had somewhere to be, I paid and left. I’ve come back in today and spoke to the same lady that did my lashes. I told her they weren’t what I asked for and that I wasn’t happy with them. She explained that because of the colour of my natural lashes and the shape of my eyes, it wasn’t possible to achieve what was in the image. Which contradicts what she said yesterday when she said that even with these factors, they would still come out similar to the image. I asked for a removal and a refund. She agreed to the removal but we went back and forth for a few minutes about the refund. I eventually said i’d be happy with a half refund, as I do understand it took time and product to provide the service yesterday. She tried to offer me $40 for a $105 service. I asked for $50 and she agreed (which still isn’t a 50% refund). She offered the removal again and I said yes and sat in the chair, she then told me that the removal would make my refund $25. I questioned why I was paying for the removal and she was unable to come up with a reason. I said I wasn’t interested in spending anymore money here so took the $50 refund and left. I’d also like to note that when I came back in today, the lady suggested I get a lift and tint next time. If this was a better way to achieve what was shown in the image, why wasn’t it suggested yesterday? I’ve attached images below of what I showed the employee vs. what I left the store with. Not similar at all. Some of the lashes are even glued to my skin instead of a lash. EDIT: I have since been to another lash tech, who removed and re-did my lashes. During the removal, she made a comment about the glue O’some brows used, she said “Oh my gosh this glue is like cement”. She also informed me that the lashes were placed way too close to my eye, and that even more (than I thought) were glued to my skin. — it was very painful to have these lashes removed (at no fault of the new lash tech). She was able to achieve the exact same lashes in the image that I showed at O’some brows, proving that it is not “impossible”.

I recently visited this salon n unfortunately had a disappointing experience. A new staff member was doing my Hina tint n colour correction. While trying to fix the colour she rubbed my eyes very vigorously with remover, which really irritated my skin. I kept telling her that it's uncomfortable. The eye area is extremely delicate especially after threading and extra care should always be taken. My skin was left red, irritated, and peeling afterwards. I have also noticed that almost every time I visit, there seems to be new staff. Proper training and supervision are very important, particularly for treatments around the eyes. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures staff are properly trained to provide safe and professional service.

I got my lashes tinted and lifted here on Thursday as soon as the store opened. I kept my face free of moisturisers (I don’t wear makeup) and I didn’t get my face wet at all, however when I slept, I woke up with black under my eyes like the tint hadn’t set. Now every time I sleep, I wake with black under my eyes and my lift has pretty much disappeared. A really horrible experience (costly too!) which has never happened before.

Look, they do an okay job. But $25 for eyebrow threading is a bit of a joke. I was in the chair for 5 minutes, and she didn’t offer any gel. I had to ask. She also worked in the same place for slightly too long and made my upper eye lid bleed. I probably won’t go back.
