Brow Theory ARMADALE

My first appointment with Dolly was positive. I was happy with the outcome so I made another appointment with her specifically. When I arrived at the appointment I was told I would have someone else as Dolly was in the middle of a lash extension appointment. When I booked I was not told they don’t guarantee the therapist. The reason I was given was very flimsy. The receptionist said some people come early and some come late so it may not work out that you get a specific therapist. I was on time for my appointment and I was not given the option to wait, I was told that this was the way it is. I felt insulted that I was disregarded, and throughout my appointment the receptionist was checking on the person getting the extensions and at the end of her appointment photos were taken and the customer was told how beautiful she looked with the extensions. Obviously an instagrammable moment and a more important customer than myself. I live locally and will not return here or recommend this business. Why would I when there are so many other businesses in the area offering this service. I can’t see anything on their website stating their attitude to bookings for specific therapists and at very least customers should be told when booking that they don’t guarantee this. Very unprofessional. Customers should be treated with request.

Leonie was so welcoming and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. I then had the pleasure of seeing Dolly for a lash lift and tint, and I’m so happy with the results!!! The whole experience was relaxing, professional, and efficient. I’ll defs be recommending this salon to my friends who love lash lifts. Thanks again xxx

Absolutely obsessed with my Korean lash lift at Brow Theory! It was my first time so I was a little nervous, but Leonie made me feel welcome and looked after from the moment I walked in. Dolly did my lash lift and was lovely, she reassured me every step of the way, and put me completely at ease. The results are gorgeous and exactly what I hoped for. If you're thinking about a lash lift, I can't recommend Brow Theory enough!

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing threading experience. I provided a reference photo and clearly requested a light clean-up that followed my natural arch. The result was quite different from what I asked for. The tail of my eyebrow was almost entirely removed, and the outer edges were thinned significantly, while the front was left thick and rounded. This created an unbalanced, shorter shape that I did not request. While I appreciated the refund and understand there’s little that can be done now, it doesn’t fully reflect the impact, as my brows will take time to grow back. I visited based on a recommendation, but this experience didn’t meet my expectations. I would suggest extra care if you’re looking to maintain a fuller, natural brow shape. Had fantastic experience with dolly for the past few years. However, whenever there is a new beautician, she will never get to the standard. Had been requesting for the same beautician however rejected when making appointment. Had been explain all the criteria to the reception but can never get it right. The reception is arrogant and careless about customer experience, spent more than 30 mins+ on brow threading. Disappointed, and got uneven brows, will never return as the studio depends on only one specific beautician.
