Went here for my first eyelash lift ever. There were two people at the lounge area and the receptionist was nowhere in sight. The guy sitting further from the door sounded off that there was a customer. An unsmiling person came out of what turned out to be the procedure area. I said I had an appointment for a lash lift, and she just told me to write on the log sheet and left. I don't think she even ask me to sit down, and I got no greetings at all. Another person (my lash technician) came to fetch me and brought me inside the procedure area. There were I think three beds inside. The receptionist was sitting at the corner moping over her cellphone, as was another technician. The bed looked decent enough, although the linen and towel were worn out. As I laid, I asked the technician what the difference was between the tinted lash lift vs. the regular one. My technician was unable to answer my question and was focused on their phone on what I presume is a game. The other lady technician said the tinted one will look like I have mascara on. My technician was a little more polite than the receptionist, however their rand reeked badly of cigarettes. Aside from the loud mouth-breathing, they were sniffling. :( Hopefully, they don't have covid. As my procedure was starting, the other customer at the lounge came in to have her brows re-done as they were lopsided according to her. Her technician disagreed (not so nicely) and so a loud argument ensued. They were bickering the whole time my lashes were being done. I was able to zone them out because one of my eyes was burning intermittently. I think the a portion of the tape was poking my eyeball. I think the place was big enough to have at least a consultation room, so that other customers don't have to put up with a squabbling like that. Then everyone there could have a(nother) go at customer service, grooming and hygiene training. The results were okay with me, as my lashes were really short but the procedure worked. I gave my tech adequate tip, but I probably will never return due to this unpleasant first encounter.
