When I arrived at the branch and informed the receptionist of the service I wanted, she suggested an alternative, which I politely declined. She then asked whether I wanted to add upper lip threading. I explained that I had already shaved my upper lip. Her response was to say, in a very loud voice, "Ma'am, wag po, kakapal yung buhok." I found both her tone and volume inappropriate. It came across as rude and condescending, and I felt embarrassed. Fortunately, the only other person in the branch was my mother. Had there been other clients present, I would have felt publicly humiliated. Even my own mother, who was with me, would never speak to me in that manner in public. I want to clarify that I have no issue with the receptionist informing clients about the salon's recommendations or correcting common misconceptions. However, this can and should be done respectfully and in a normal conversational tone. Raising her voice in response to my personal grooming choice was unnecessary and made me feel uncomfortable. The service itself was quick, and I was happy with how my brows turned out. Unfortunately, this interaction significantly affected my overall experience. While I appreciate the quality of the brow service, I would be hesitant to return if the same receptionist continues to treat customers in this manner.
Service is ok. Their receptionist is terrible. I went in and my phone was literally on her table with the voucher open on my screen. Another personnel attended to me, asked me to fill up a form and then immediately asked me to sit down for the eyebrow threading. When I was back at the reception to settle the payment, I showed her the screenshot of the voucher. The receptionist REPRIMANDED me and told me I should have presented the voucher before having the session. She reasoned it was because writing on the invoice is irreversible. That's even her fualt for not verifying if a customer will be paying with cash or will be using a voucher. NOTE that nowhere on the voucher's terms and conditions does it mention that you have to present the voucher beforehand. Instead of being professional about it, the receptionist gave me such an attitude and even sarcastically asking if it was my first time to use the voucher. Will be avoiding happy brows from now on. I was planning to avail another 3+1 voucher again but nevermind after that incident.
Not friendly staff, and bad results for lash lift.
Love how Mae did my lash perm 💕
Hospitable, friendly and professional staff. One of the best experiences I have had. Thank you, Happy Brows.😊
