Miji Beauty Eyelash

This was my first time visiting Miji. My regular lash studio was booked, so I decided to try them based on the reviews. I originally called asking about Emily at the Carson location and was told she was available at the Torrance location, so I booked accordingly. However, someone else ended up doing my lashes. Marlin was her name. From the start, the experience felt off. The glue smell was extremely strong and overwhelming. At first, I thought it was a cleaning solution, but it was so intense that I nearly choked. In hindsight, I should have walked out. During the service, I was nicked multiple times while my lashes were being separated. I flinched and said “ow” each time, and although the technician apologized, this happened about four times. It was uncomfortable and concerning. I also clearly communicated that I have downturned eyes and came in with a mapped style and specific lengths. Despite that, the final result did not reflect what I asked for, and there was nothing that could be done to fix it without a full removal. The lashes themselves feel cheap and the glue harsh and hard, and the environment was not relaxing. While spa music was playing, the staff were talking and laughing loudly throughout the appointment, which made it difficult to feel comfortable or relaxed. The space is cramped. Overall, this was not a good experience, and I’m very disappointed. I’m sharing this so others can make an informed decision before booking.

I’am absolutely in love with Miji Eyelash studio. I have been a client for about 4.5 years now. My lashes last 3-4 weeks with PROPER CARE. I get the natural look all the time (sizes 9, 10 & 11). They never feel heavy, quite the contrary, they feel light. The quality of lashes, glue and equipment are spot on. I have NEVER gotten any infections nor have experienced any issues with my lashes or the technician. I get compliments all the time and have referred multiple people and they too have been happy with their experience. I reside in the South Bay and would drive to the San Gabriel location just to get my eyelashes done. However, I was over the moon to hear they opened up a Torrance and Carson locations which are A-LOT closer to my home. These locations are super clean and relaxing as well. NOTE, lower your expectations with being a first time customer getting your lashes done. Every shape of eyes are DIFFERENT. So just because I get the natural look doesn’t mean it may look good on your shape of eyes! Be realistic with your expectations and you’ll be much happier with your first time in getting your lashes done. If you have any issues address them before you leave which I have (if any) and they have always taken care of me kindly. The prices are REASONABLE as well compared to other lash studios. I hope you find your right TECHNICIAN and location as I am with Miji Eyelash studios. OBSESSED!

love Christine and recommend going to her, 2026 updated review. Included my first ever review from my first time, lol with blonde hair too. Still doing 3D lashes, she does it perfectly for Asian lashes, I do wispy now and 10-13 length. Shes gentle and nice ask for her.

My appointment was at 3 pm and she didn't assist til 330pm. They double booked . Ive done my eyelashes at other places Not Miji and I never felt my eye this uncomfortable. The glue they are using is either old but the lashes aren't staying and my eye feels like I got glue in my eye. A couple of people commented on my lashes last night saying that they aren't the same one has more lashes than the other one. I just got them done yesterday. I need to remove them .

Tech did a wonderful job. She took her time and listened to the look I was wanting. I loved my result. Highly recommend
