I find it hard to find great lash technicians in London but i absolutely love my lashes and they last forever. Daria my lash technician was very kind and accommodating on my visit as i am 34 weeks pregnant. The atmosphere also lovely and great loction, close to the tube station.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at London Lash Lounge Hammersmith. First of all, I want to be fair: I arrived late due to public transport issues, and I completely accept that this was my responsibility. I was informed over the phone that my treatment time would therefore be reduced, which I understood and accepted. However, the way the situation was handled once I arrived was extremely disappointing. The staff offered me the option to reschedule my appointment and suggested Monday at 12pm. At the time, I was unsure whether I would be available on Monday, so I initially left to check my schedule. What is important to mention is that I am not from the UK and was only visiting London. I am flying out on Monday, so I cannot simply come back another day or reschedule for next week. This was a very time-sensitive appointment for me. I had already paid a £30 deposit, and when I explained that I could not find another suitable appointment and would therefore not be able to receive the service, I asked for my deposit to be refunded. I was told that it would not be refunded. I understand that deposits can be non-refundable under certain circumstances, but in this situation I was not cancelling because I simply changed my mind. I was a visitor who was leaving the country, and there was no realistic opportunity for me to book another appointment in a few days or the following week. I then realized shortly afterwards that I actually could make the Monday 12pm appointment, so I went back to the salon to accept the appointment they had offered me. And this is where the situation became even more frustrating. I was suddenly told that I would have to pay another £30 deposit for the new appointment, while my original £30 deposit was still being kept. I find this completely unreasonable. I had already paid £30, I was offered a rescheduled appointment, and when I returned shortly afterwards and said that I could actually make the suggested appointment, I was told I would need to pay another deposit. Why could my original deposit not simply be transferred to the new appointment? I completely accept that I was late. That is not what I am complaining about. What I am complaining about is the inconsistent communication and the way my deposit was handled. I was trying to find a solution, but instead I left feeling like I had simply lost £30. And because I was leaving the country on Monday, this was not a situation where I could just book another appointment a few days later. The whole situation could have been resolved very easily by either refunding my deposit or transferring it to the rescheduled appointment. Instead, I left extremely upset. Very poor customer service and definitely not the experience I expected. I would not recommend this salon based on how this situation was handled.
