I usually get my eyebrows done at Blink Brow Bar in Selfridges, and they are absolutely out of this world. I genuinely can’t fault them it’s my favourite spot, and all of the girls there are so lovely and incredibly skilled. Unfortunately, my experience at the Liberty branch was the complete opposite. I had originally booked at Selfridges, but due to a patch test issue I couldn’t have my appointment there. I wanted to research another technician myself, but the lady on the phone insisted on rebooking me at the Liberty branch. Looking back, I probably should have trusted my instincts. When I went in for my patch test, the staff seemed unsure about who was going to do it, which didn’t fill me with confidence. I booked a semi-permanent half set of lashes a very simple, natural look. The technician was pleasant, and I explained that during the patch test glue had been left all over my lashes and needed to be removed before starting. She assured me she’d sort it. Instead, the remover solution ended up all over my face, removing makeup around my eyes and down my cheeks unnecessarily. I’ve had my lashes done countless times and have never left an appointment looking like a panda with half my makeup removed. The solution also stung my eyes badly enough that I had to ask for water to rinse it off. The biggest issue was that the original glue still hadn’t been properly removed. My natural lashes became stuck together and even stuck to my lower lashes. At the end, she had to break one of my natural lashes to separate them because she couldn’t remove the glue. By that point I’d already spent around an hour in the chair, my eyes were sore, and I just wanted to leave with my lashes unstuck. The finished lashes were also uneven and not the natural style I’d asked for. To be fair, the technician did offer to adjust them, but after everything that had happened I had completely lost confidence and had other commitments to get to. What disappointed me most was that the staff could clearly see I was unhappy with the outcome, yet there was no gesture of goodwill or acknowledgement of the experience. Based on this visit, I don’t think lash extensions should be offered unless technicians are fully confident and consistently trained to deliver the treatment safely and to the expected standard. I’ll happily continue going to the Selfridges branch, but unfortunately I can’t recommend the Liberty branch for lash extensions.

I visited yesterday for a brow shaping and have to say I was incredibly disappointed. I left with strange shaped eyebrows thick with wax and cut incorrectly. I ended up having to go to Selfridges Blink Brow Bar where I asked for help amending the shape and even the manager there agreed they hadn’t been done properly. There was no brow mapping just a tidy up but they weren’t even cut correctly. My brows are incredibly important to my facial structure and it’s my 40th birthday party tomorrow so I am deeply distressed that the shaping was terrible and feel silly for booking. I won’t be returning. £28 for a terrible ten minute experience is a complete waste of money I saw Nadya so I wouldn’t recommend!

I went to get my eyebrows threaded for the first time in liberty today. Suneeta was amazing, she explained everything that needed to be done to shape my brows correctly and was pleasant to talk to. I will definitely be coming back!

I made an appointment for long wear brows and lash lift and tint. I was talked out of having long wear brows because apparently this can look too dark. Throughout the whole experience the woman doing my brows and lashes kept trying to make me Buy products which was really annoying! By the end of the session she must’ve tried to sell me everything on offer. The brow tint only lasted a couple of days and the lash lift was the worst one I have ever had. It cost me £215 and was most definitely not worth it!

Terrible experience - asked for natural looking lift NOT CURL - ended up having to return for them to “correct” the curl and ended in the eye hospital for chemical damage to my eye, 2 weeks of steroid drops and antibiotic cream in my eye was not what I was expecting when I booked in for a lash lift - refund has been received after an email to head office but this is what I’m now left with - they look absolutely awful!!
