Please ladies don’t come here to get a simple hair service from AFROHAIRTRENDS. Recently I got my hair braided by a woman called Esther and she told me to have my hair washed and braided (simple cornrows going back , also note : I didn’t ask to have any added hair or extensions) was £65 and when it came to the end of the service she says £95? I know for sure I was bumped a high price and also not told that the price had changed. I don’t even like my hair because when she braided my hair and left the ends with no rubber bands so they all came out by the time I came home. I strongly dislike the service and will not be going here ever again. People pay a price for a crap service.

I’ve been coming to this salon for about 5 years, but recently the quality has really gone downhill. There seem to be new staff who are inexperienced and not properly trained. Today I went in for my usual eyebrow treatment, but since my regular technician was busy, I was seen by someone else. She completely overdid my left eyebrow and left me with a noticeable bald patch it’s honestly shocking. What made it worse was the owner’s reaction. She did nothing to resolve the situation and showed no concern, and there was no apology from either the staff member or the owner. It made it feel like the focus is more on taking money than on customer care. After years of loyalty, this was extremely disappointing. I won’t be returning.

I do not recommend, they are scammers. Be careful most reviews are fake. Very poor hygiene, dirty premises they don’t wash their hands. I went there do do individual eyelashes extensions that I paid £45. The very same day they were falling. They don’t know how to do it. It tooks 20 minutes for the lady to install individual lashes. I usually do it with a specialist in Leytonstone and it takes at least 1 hour more to get them done and it last for at least 3 weeks and when the lashes falls out it’s one by one and not a bunch. I feel like crying spending so much money for nothing. They said I should pay cash also and I was walking around the shopping mall looking for a cash machine.

I had a male hair dresser dont know what his name was but his work was outstanding the salon staff was so kind and gentle I love this salon and the price was amazing I cant even express enough gratitude towards the staff ❤️
