MC Lash Studio & Beauty Bar

I booked a Groupon a week ago and just had an idea in my gut this was a bad idea. After I booked it I had a hard time reaching the number on the voucher so I went to social media and found the page. The page had no recent updates this year (it’s August) so I was already prepared to just ask for a refund. Maria contacted me back and informed me that she wasn’t sure why the deal was still up as she requested it be removed. Fine I just wanted her to inform Groupon so I can get a full refund. She instead tells me she will honor my deal and set the appointment for me anyway because I live in Skokie and it was an appointment for my birthday. She sent email and text confirmation along with the address. Today I drove an hour to get there just for her to not answer the phone or door and intentionally send me to voicemail. Worst part Groupon won’t refund me cash because SHE won’t take the fault and only gave me Groupon bucks. That was very unprofessional because I asked if I should just cancel and she was insistent that she can still do it. Wasted two hours of my morning for nothing. Maria. You were wrong and will lose more than the time and money I did in the end because karma is real.

4 stars bc my eyelashes weren’t cleaned before placing the set on… I feel like that would help keep them from falling faster 🤷‍♀️ MC, the owner did my lashes. She’s a really chill lady and fast too. She did this CLASSIC SET on me. Overall, the place is really nice and they are new to the neighborhood. I got my promo through Groupon. Will update in 2 weeks* *Nov 8th: Love the owner, her place is such a comforting vibe. She’s super fast too. Would go to her again.

I got a classic set of eyelash extensions by Monica. I had purchased a Groupon and they were able to set an appointment for me within a week! When I arrived, they made sure to take precautions to make sure it was clean (temp check, sanitizer, etc). Monica made sure I was okay throughout the appointment and I loved how my lashed turned out! Will be back for my fill in two weeks!

Pampered. That’s how I felt at MC Lash Studio and Beauty bar. The best manicure and pedicure I have ever had. Nice studio and a peaceful vibe. Attention to details and taking the time to do a great job. I’ll definitely be back.

Both my mom and I have been going to MC Lash Studio for the past 3/4 years and we'd definitely recommend their services to anyone! Maria and Marcus have become our close friends over the years and have always provided such excellent service when getting the eyelash extensions. The salon is extremely clean, the appointment only takes about 25 minutes, and if you become a member.... they offer the best price I've seen in the city of Chicago. Each time I get the refill, I always receive compliments on how natural they look because Maria/Marcus ensure they don't look too long or fake. I never have to wear makeup during the work week anymore because they add such volume and stay on for about 2-2.5 weeks (3 weeks if you're not a rough sleeper).
