Jenny & Gita oh.\n They did an excellent job. I'm very satisfied. I will be coming back again and recommending them to family and friends.
I’ve been coming to Jill’s Brow Studio for years just for my eyebrows, and overall I keep coming back because they usually do a good job. There have been a couple times where I’ve gotten small cuts or little mishaps during threading/waxing, but honestly nobody is perfect and sometimes those things happen. The staff has always been friendly, and despite a few minor issues here and there. I do think there are a few things they could improve on when it comes to being a little more careful and consistent, but overall my experiences have been mostly positive.
Jennie was the girl that took care of me she’s so amazing I will only go to her. She always does an amazing job! Wish I could give her more than five stars.
There were 3 workers available when I walked in the youngest attendant took me. She began threading my eyebrows and my worse nightmare came true! She pulled out my eyelashes leaving me a bald spot! I have naturally long eye lashes about an inch long and she thought my eyelashes were fake but I told her they were my real eyelashes and it hurt I even teared up from the pain. I’m actively showing my pain we stop so she could get me a tissue said sorry and continued on. The other 2 employees didn’t even say hey is everything okay or no type of reaction. The attendant continued on and charged me full price. I’ll never ever ever come here again it’s been a while now and nothing has grown back!! I’m so depressed with the bald spot in my eye… my once favorite feature about myself is now my most insecure feature…..they didn’t even take accountability or try to give a resolution to my traumatic experience.
I am extremely disappointed and honestly disturbed by my experience here. My sister and I came in for a simple brow wax ($10) and lip wax ($5). While we were there, my sister—who is a minor—asked for medium-length individual lashes and clearly explained what she wanted. The technician began working on her left eye only and then showed her the result. My sister immediately said she did not like it. I stepped over to look myself, and the work was visibly poor—clumpy, uneven, and nothing like what she requested. We asked for it to be removed right away, and to her credit, the technician did remove it. No work was done on the right eye. Here’s where things became unacceptable. When it was time to pay, I was charged $45. Knowing the wax services totaled only $30, I checked my transaction and went back inside to ask for clarification. I was told I was charged extra for the partial lash work on one eye—work that was rejected immediately and not completed. Even worse, the technician claimed she had informed my sister of this charge, which was completely untrue. Again, my sister is a minor. Any pricing discussion should have been directed to me, the adult who was paying. After I questioned this, the technician had to call her manager, who agreed with me and stated clearly that I should have only been charged for the brow and lip wax. I was then refunded. What made the situation even more uncomfortable was that immediately afterward, the staff began speaking about the situation in their native language in front of me. Whether intentional or not, it felt unprofessional and disrespectful. This entire experience felt dishonest and poorly handled. Attempting to charge a customer—especially a minor—for a service they did not accept is unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I strongly encourage others to carefully review their charges before leaving. Did you like this feature? If you want, I can also make a shorter, harsher version that hits even harder and gets more attention.
