Iggy at Flutter is an absolute MASTER of her crafts. I've had the unique pleasure of receiving the absolute best haircuts of my entire freakin life from her dozens of times, despite not living in the Chicago area. Yes, she's absolutely worth the time, effort, and expense of flying in for her beautifications. 20 years it's been now! Holy cow! If you have curly hair, you know just how tough it is to find someone that can cut it in a way that shapes & reforms the springiness and layers in in a way so you don't end up looking like a poodle or a hobo. I struggled with just about every other hairstylist to tame this wild locks of mine. You know you've found a legendary hairstylist when you can still look good for not just weeks, but MONTHS after getting a haircut from her. Some stylists, the hair looks decent for about 3-5 weeks max. I can go to Iggy and not need another haircut for 3-6 months afterward. She's also lifted my eyelashes... yes, men can get their eyelashes done and still look masculine... but don't be telling everyone my beauty secrets, alright? DO, however, give her a try for anything beauty related. She's a OG world-renowned legend of the eyelash extension world, which I was a part of for over a dozen years myself as a lash artist in San Diego. She's taught probably 20% of the lash technicians in the area herself. Xtreme Lashes flew her all over the country to teach newbies the very difficult to build skills of lash artistry. But don't just assume that cause her business is called "Flutter Lash Studio" that it's just for girls or just for brows and lashes... she's a freakin Vidaal-Sassoon trained master hair-stylist and most likely the entire midwest's premiere CURLY HAIR EXPERT! Ok, I think I've gushed enough about Iggy... time for you to stop comparison shopping and go to THE BEST IN CHICAGO for men's and women's hair, lash extensions, lash perms aka lash lifts, brows, and I think she even does semi-permanent jewelry too. I love Iggy and Flutter Lash Studio! I have been coming here for 10 years I think. Maybe longer. Iggy is extremely talented and constantly educating herself in her craft. She is also an incredible good human who is so passionate about her work, company, and loved ones including her dogs. Flutter Lash offers a lot of great services and has great prices.
